A day Of Reckoning

Today I have had a day of reckoning I have thought through a few things wondering where life really goes and where it is supposed to go how many dreams do we chase and in chasing actually miss the magic of the moments so beautifully and perfectly given to us. Yet we are supposed to chase our dreams shoot for the stars. Set goals the list goes on and on. But I do believe the true Joy comes in Gratitude. I am grateful today for My health (even though I could indulge less) and for 3 beautiful healthy loving dynamic children. For a hard working , Easy to love caring husband who after cleaning the house all day while I helped a neighbour brought me flowers on his way home from picking up Joseph. I am grateful for trees and their majestic beauty.And for the Ocean and the life it gives and its power to captivate. I am grateful that the Children are blessed to know their grandparents I am grateful for all they are to us. I am grateful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I am grateful to know that God has a plan for me. I am still trying to figure it out but I know he does. I am grateful  to know my Family can be forever, I am grateful for the solitude that can be found on a rainy day even with giggles and noises in the background.  Life is good.

We Had a wonderful Thanksgiving ,Nanny and Grampie and Nanny and Papie Came to visit .Darren And I were the chefs but Papie stepped in to add the extra stuff that makes turkey dinner soo good !

The weather was beautiful we watched home video's Noah graced us with music and yipee this year we have a dishwasher ,which allowed more time for visits. Papie and Nanny Judy serenaded us with old songs. It was a great day a day to be thankful for.

 It has been a happy day with the Inlaws outlaws and all the kiddies just kidding a wonderful day with our wonderful Parents a yummy meal ,beautiful weatherand lots of love and smiles and of course memories.  It is funny how it takes a turkey to remind us of what we have to be so grateful for So today I am thankful for turkeys.And of course all the blessings and memories of this day.

Beautiful Sunday

What a beautiful sunday it has been Genral conference was wonderful Darren attended all sessions the kids and I attended two the other two from home. This has been the first time in a long time he has been home to attened. We went on a wonderful family walk on the trails by our home this morning. It was a grat way to start the day I would have loved to take pictures the whole time but darren loves to keep us moving must be the military man in him We did stop at the bridge for awhile and the bench a little ways down so that is pretty good. Heavenly father paints amazing pictures!
